I love greensπ± drinking them, eating them, wearing them. Green reminds me of Mother Gaia, and her magical healing powers. It reminds me of my childhood days laying in the grass even though I knew it would make me itchy. Green reminds me of strength and stability. I was remembering the cartoon Popeye the Sailerman and how he used to eat his can of spinach before a big fight, or whenever he needed that extra boost. “I’m strong to the finich, cause I eats me spinach… I’m Popeye the Sailerman!”. That cartoon was iconic for getting kids to eat their greens back in the 90’s.
I try and have a green juice or smoothie a day. If I don’t put greens in my breakfast smoothie, then I will make a green juice for later in the day. Or I will do both in one day, you can never have too many greens!
The benefits of drinking green juice daily:
- Rejuvenation of cells
- Healthy skin glow
- Improved energy

- High in Amino acids (protein building blocks)
Here I have included two recipes, one for a delicious sweet green juice and another for a scrumptious green protein smoothie.
1 1/2 green pears
1/2 a large seedless cucumber
1 whole bulb of celery
Thumbs length of fresh ginger
1/2 a banana
Handful of kale
Handful of mango
Half an avocado
Half a pear
Splash of hemp seeds
Dash of camu camu powder
1 scoop of vanilla pea protein
Fill 3/4 with milk of choice, I use hemp
And top off with a few cubes of ice
